COAS Field Marshal Asim Munir Vows to Crush Terrorism

Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir has accused India of supporting terrorism in Pakistan. He said India failed in its direct efforts and has now turned to a proxy war. His comments came during the 16th National Workshop Balochistan, where he spoke to a diverse group of leaders.
The Army Chief met with lawmakers, civil servants, media professionals, students, and activists from across Balochistan. He spoke about the Army’s firm commitment to fighting terrorism. He also stressed the need for economic growth and unity in the province.
General Munir said India is trying to create unrest in Balochistan by backing militant groups. He said these actions target the loyalty of local people. But he praised Balochistan’s strong sense of patriotism and said these efforts will fail.
He named two major threats—”Fitna-al-Khawarij” and “Fitna-al-Hindustan”—as parts of India’s hybrid war. He promised they would face the same defeat as in the battle called “Marka-e-Haq.” He added that these groups cannot break Pakistan’s unity.
In closing, the COAS promised continued support for Balochistan’s development. He said peace and progress in the region are vital for national strength. He assured that the Army will defend the country against all forms of terrorism, both foreign and domestic.
