Constitutional amendment: Justice Mansoor and Justice Muneeb write to Chief Justice for full-court bench

Two senior judges have written to the Chief Justice, requesting the formation of a full court bench to hear the 26th Constitutional Amendment.

According to details, Justice Mansoor Ali Shah and Justice Muneeb Akhtar have demanded that the case regarding the 26th Amendment be heard by the full court this week.

In a committee meeting on October 31, it was decided that this important case would be presented before the full court on November 4. However, despite the committee’s decision, no cause list has been issued yet.

In the letter, the two judges explained that, due to the absence of a committee meeting, they independently held a meeting under Section 2.

The letter also requests that the minutes from the October 31 meeting be promptly published on the website to enable an early hearing of the case in the full court.
