Eight terrorists killed, two soldiers martyred in KP operations: ISPR

In a series of operations conducted by security forces in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, eight terrorists were eliminated, while two soldiers embraced martyrdom, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) reported.

According to the military’s media wing, the operations took place between November 29 and December 1. The first operation, an intelligence-based raid, targeted a terrorist hideout in Baka Khel, Bannu. During the operation, five terrorists were killed and nine others injured. Tragically, 29-year-old Sepoy Iftikhar Hussain from Jhang displayed exceptional courage and embraced martyrdom while engaging the terrorists.

In another operation, security forces continued their efforts to eliminate terrorist elements in the region, further contributing to the ongoing counterterrorism campaign in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The identity of the second soldier martyred in the operations has not been disclosed at this time.
