Elon Musk Appears with Black Eye at White House

Washington, D.C.: Billionaire entrepreneur Elon Musk made headlines during a White House appearance on Friday—not just for stepping down from his official role but also for sporting a noticeable black eye.

During an Oval Office event with U.S. President Donald Trump, Musk explained the bruise on his right eye by saying it was the result of playful roughhousing with his 5-year-old son, X.

“I said, ‘Go ahead, punch me in the face.’ And he did,” Musk told reporters with a smile. President Trump, standing beside him, chimed in: “That was X that did that? … X could do it. If you knew X.”

Initially brushing off the incident with a cryptic joke, Musk quipped, “I wasn’t anywhere near France,” a humorous reference to a recent incident involving French President Emmanuel Macron’s wife.
