FBR Officer suspended for misbehaving with Police, Vawda applauds Chairman An FBR officer has been suspended for misbehaving with police personnel, following intervention by Senator Faisal Vawda.
The action was taken on the directive of FBR Chairman Rashid Langrial. Senator Vawda praised the Chairman on social media platform X, saying, “Well done, Chairman FBR. This suspension reflects your sincerity towards reform.”

He added that public servants are meant to serve, not intimidate, and emphasised the need for respectful engagement with the business community, calling them the “backbone of the economy.”
Vawda reaffirmed his support for the Chairman reform agenda, stating, “Change takes time, but we are with you every step of the way.”
