Finn Allen Smashes T20 World Record

New Zealand’s rising cricket star Finn Allen has etched his name into the record books with a blistering T20 innings, smashing 19 sixes — the most ever hit in a single T20 innings — while playing for San Francisco Unicorns in the Major League Cricket (MLC).

Allen’s record-breaking performance came against Washington Freedom, where he scored a staggering 151 runs off just 51 balls. His aggressive display not only broke Chris Gayle’s long-standing record of 18 sixes in a T20 innings but also included a string of other milestones.

He reached 150 runs in only 49 balls, setting a new benchmark for the fastest 150 in T20 cricket history. Additionally, Allen became the first New Zealander to score a T20 century in just 34 deliveries, thrilling fans with his all-round power-hitting.
