First U.S. Relief Shipment Arrives in Pakistan After Floods

The United States has sent its first shipment of emergency aid to help people affected by the floods in Pakistan. The aid includes food, tents, and life-saving medicines. This support aims to help those who have lost their homes and belongings due to the recent floods.

According to details, the U.S. military delivered the aid to the Pakistan Army to support ongoing relief efforts. The aid arrived at Nur Khan Airbase on C-17 and C-130 aircraft. U.S. officials, including Chargé d’Affaires Natalie Baker, received the shipment. The U.S. Embassy said that America stands with the people of Pakistan during this difficult time.

The U.S. also shared deep sorrow over the lives lost and damage caused by the floods. In response to a request from Pakistan, the U.S. government and military approved the emergency help. The aid will be used to meet urgent needs in the flood-affected areas and to support rescue and relief operations.
