Forensic Lab Analyzing Samples in Humaira Asghar Death Investigation

KARACHI: The investigation into the mysterious death of actress and model Humaira Asghar continues as forensic experts examine samples collected from her residence and post-mortem.

According to sources involved in the case, a total of nine samples have been submitted to the University of Karachi’s forensic laboratory, including four samples from her body, four from her apartment, and a blood sample from her brother for DNA confirmation.

The samples are expected to play a key role in determining the cause of death, which remains unclear at this stage. Humaira’s body was discovered in her Defence area apartment, raising questions about the circumstances of her passing.

Officials confirmed that the forensic analysis will help verify any toxic substances, physical evidence, or traces of struggle that may shed light on whether foul play was involved.

The final forensic report is awaited and will be crucial in steering the next phase of the investigation.
