Former Actress Arij Fatyma Performs Umrah After Battling Cancer

Former Pakistani actress Arij Fatyma who left the entertainment industry for religious reasons, recently performed Umrah with her family after recovering from a battle with cancer.

Taking to Instagram, Arij shared her spiritual journey with fans, describing the experience as deeply emotional and full of gratitude. She posted a video with the caption:
“Alhamdulillah, we completed Umrah peacefully after Isha and sincerely thanked Allah from the heart.”

She further revealed that the next day was spent in worship at the Holy Kaaba, where she had the honor of praying in Hijr Ismail (Hatim) and writing her family members’ names on the Kiswah (the cloth of the Kaaba).

Although she reached close to the Hajr-e-Aswad (Black Stone), she couldn’t kiss it due to the large crowd. “Sometimes patience and restraint are also a form of worship,” she expressed.

Earlier, Arij had revealed her struggle with cancer, sharing her journey and raising awareness through videos on her social media platforms. Thankfully, she has now returned to health and embraced life with a renewed spiritual focus.
