Gas Supply Disruption in Karachi Due to Construction Work

Karachi – The Sui Southern Gas Company (SSGC) has announced that gas supply will be suspended in several areas of Karachi today due to ongoing construction work related to the BRT (Bus Rapid Transit) project.
According to an SSGC spokesperson, the gas supply near Safoora Chowrangi will be interrupted tonight due to the relocation of gas pipelines for the BRT route. The work is expected to cause temporary disruptions in gas service.
The spokesperson clarified that the gas supply interruption will also affect other parts of Karachi where construction for the BRT project and gas line replacements are underway. Areas including Gulistan-e-Johar blocks 1, 2, 3, and 7 will experience gas cuts until 7:00 AM tomorrow.
In addition, the gas supply in Safoora Chowrangi and its surrounding areas will remain suspended until the early morning hours of 7:00 AM.
