Gold prices decline in Pakistan and Global markets after historic surge

Following a prolonged upward trend, gold prices have begun to decline in both the global and Pakistani markets.
According to the All Pakistan Gems and Jewelers Association, gold in the international market dropped by $16 on the first business day of the week, settling at $3,289 per ounce. In response, the price of gold in Pakistan fell by Rs. 1,600 per tola, bringing the rate down to Rs. 347,100.
Similarly, the price of 10 grams of gold decreased by Rs. 1,368 to Rs. 297,582.
Meanwhile, silver prices in Pakistan remained unchanged at Rs. 3,497 per tola.
It’s worth noting that just last week, gold hit an all-time high in Pakistan, surpassing Rs. 363,000 per tola.
