Gold prices in Pakistan drop after recent increase

Gold prices in Pakistan experienced a decline on Monday, following a rise over the previous five sessions, aligning with a drop in international market rates.

As per the All Sindh Sarafa Jewellers Association, the price of gold per tola decreased by Rs1,500, bringing it down to Rs279,300 in the local market.

Additionally, the price of 10 grams of gold dropped by Rs1,286, resulting in a new selling price of Rs239,455, according to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).

On Saturday, gold prices had surged by Rs1,400 per tola, closing at Rs280,800. The recent decline in prices follows a trend seen in international gold markets.
