Gold prices rise further in global and local markets

Uncertainty continues in the global precious metals market, with the price of gold reaching a new high of $2,904 per ounce, following a $1 increase in the international bullion market.

According to reports, this rise in gold prices has led to an increase in local gold markets as well. On Tuesday, the price of 24-carat gold per tola increased by 100 rupees, reaching a historic high of 303,100 rupees. Additionally, the price of 10 grams of gold rose by 86 rupees, reaching a new peak of 259,859 rupees.

In contrast, the price of silver per tola decreased by 61 rupees, settling at 3,312 rupees, while the price of 10 grams of silver dropped by 52 rupees to 2,839 rupees.
