Gold prices surge in local and international markets

Karachi: Gold prices have seen a significant rise in both global and local markets, with the cost of the precious metal reaching new heights.

In Karachi, the price of gold per tola has increased by 2,300 rupees, bringing it to 282,800 rupees. Similarly, the price of 10 grams of gold has risen by 1,971 rupees, now standing at 242,455 rupees.

On the global front, gold has seen a notable rise of 23 dollars per ounce, reaching a new record of 2,716 dollars.

Meanwhile, the price of silver has remained stable, holding at 3,450 rupees per tola.
