Government Reduces Petrol and Diesel Prices for Next 15 Days

The government of Pakistan has announced new rates for petroleum products for the next 15 days, aiming to give some relief to the public. The official notification explains that small reductions have been approved, and the goal is to maintain stability in petroleum prices in Pakistan during the current economic situation.
According to the Petroleum Division, a new notification has been issued confirming changes in petrol and diesel prices. The government reviewed international market trends before finalizing the revised rates.

The notification states that a 2 rupee per liter reduction has reduced the price of petrol. After this decrease, the new price of petrol will be 263 rupees and 45 paisa per liter. The government says this small cut is meant to reduce public daily travel costs.
The price of high-speed diesel has also been reduced. A cut of 4 rupees and 79 paisa has brought the new diesel price down to 279 rupees and 64 paisa per liter. Officials added that these new fuel prices will take effect from midnight tonight.

The government believes that these revised rates will help control inflation and support consumers in the coming days.
