Governor Punjab Imposes Complete Ban on Israeli and Foreign Products at Governor House

Governor of Punjab, Sardar Salim Haider, has announced a complete ban on the use of products and beverages from Israeli companies and other foreign brands at the Governor House in Lahore. He stated that this decision was made in light of the ongoing Israeli atrocities in Palestine and the sentiments of the Muslim world.
Governor Haider declared that as long as he holds this office, no item that financially benefits Israel or non-Muslim powers in any way will be used at the Governor House. He described this step as a “symbolic but strong message” that the people of Pakistan stand with the oppressed Palestinians.
During this occasion, the governor met with prominent political figures including Raja Pervaiz Ashraf, Ali Gilani, and Chaudhry Manzoor. The meeting focused on discussing national and international affairs.
Governor Punjab also expressed heartfelt condolences to the families of Pakistanis who lost their lives in a recent terrorist attack in Iran. He urged the Iranian government to bring those responsible to justice.
He emphasised that oppression against Muslims anywhere in the world shakes the conscience of every compassionate person. “Our silence is no less than a crime — the time has come for concrete action,” he added.
