Great news for students wanting free and modern laptops

Students aspiring to receive a free and modern laptops have received an important update as the last day to apply online for the Chief Minister Laptop Scheme has arrived.
According to details, Punjab Education Minister Rana Sikandar Hayat has shared a crucial announcement regarding the scheme, urging students to apply before the deadline ends today.
So far, over 250,000 students have registered for the Chief Minister Laptop Scheme. Under this initiative, 110,000 modern laptops will be distributed among students.
The provincial minister further stated that the scheme is exclusively available for BS students enrolled in public sector universities. Only first- and second-semester BS students are eligible to apply.
It is noteworthy that Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz launched the laptop scheme as part of her commitment to digitally empower the youth of the province.
How to apply for the laptop program?
Eligible students can submit their online applications by clicking on the link: cmlaptophed.punjab.gov.pk. Before applying, students must enter their details online to complete the registration process.
- No, students enrolled in private colleges or universities are not eligible for the scheme.
- No, there is no application fee for the laptop scheme.
