Hadiqa Kiani and Maharang Baloch named among BBC’s ‘100 Women for 2024.’

The British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) has named two remarkable Pakistani women to its prestigious list of ‘100 Women for 2024.’ Singer and songwriter Hadiqa Kiani, along with doctor and activist Maharang Baloch, have been recognised for their inspirational work and influence.

Kiani, known for her exceptional music career, and Baloch, who has made significant contributions to the health and rights of marginalised communities, were honoured alongside some of the world’s most extraordinary women. The list also includes renowned figures like astronaut Sunita Williams, rape survivor Gisèle Pelicot, and Nobel Peace Prize laureate Nadia Murad.
