LAHORE: Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) chief Hafiz Naeemur Rehman strongly criticized U.S. President Donald Trump’s proposed Gaza peace plan. He said the plan ignores Palestinian statehood and focuses only on Israel’s security. Hafiz Naeem called the plan unfair and disconnected from real peace. He said it gives Israel a free hand to harm Palestinians.

He also condemned the plan’s clause demanding Hamas disarmament, calling it illegal. Hafiz Naeem called Hamas a resistance force defending Palestine from occupation. He said international law supports the right to resist foreign occupation. According to him, the plan is not peace but a license for more killings.

Additionally, Hafiz Naeem criticized Tony Blair for his role in Iraq’s mass killings. He accused Blair of complicity in violence and called him unfit to govern Gaza. Hafiz Naeem expressed deep disappointment over Pakistan’s acceptance of the US plan before its official release. He warned that accepting the plan would harm Pakistan’s position on Kashmir.

In response to Israel’s attack on the Global Sumud Flotilla, Hafiz Naeem announced nationwide protests. The protests aim to condemn Israeli aggression and demand justice for Palestinians. He also announced a major march planned for October 4th across Pakistan. The JI chief urged all Pakistanis to join the protests and raise their voices.

He concluded by saying Israel’s actions threaten global peace and stability. Hafiz Naeem blamed the United States for supporting Israel’s harsh measures. He called on the international community to stop the violence and protect Palestinian rights. The JI’s protests are a part of ongoing efforts to resist Israeli aggression.
