Hajj agreement 2025: over 179,000 Pakistani pilgrims to perform Hajj

A significant agreement for Hajj 2025 has been signed between Saudi Arabia and Pakistan, paving the way for 179,210 Pakistani pilgrims to perform the Hajj this year. The agreement was formalized between Pakistan’s Ministry of Religious Affairs and the Saudi Ministry of Hajj.
As part of this agreement, special areas in Mina have been designated for Pakistani pilgrims, offering discounted rates for accommodation and services. Pilgrims will also have the option to stay in Medina for 4 to 8 days, giving them flexibility in their travel plans.
A new short-term Hajj program has been introduced for 2025, allowing pilgrims to complete their spiritual journey in 20 to 25 days. The Saudi Ministry of Hajj has promised to provide pilgrims with top-tier facilities and services to ensure their journey is as comfortable and spiritually enriching as possible.
Bookings for Hajj 2025 have already started under the Private Hajj Scheme, with packages ranging from PKR 1.1 million to 2.15 million. For premium packages, which exceed PKR 3 million, approval from the Hajj Policy Formulation Committee is required.
