Hong Kong Sixes: Pakistan defeats South Africa, advances to semi-finals

Pakistan has secured a spot in the semifinals of the Hong Kong Super Six. In the quarterfinal, Pakistan defeated South Africa to earn a place in the semi-final. Pakistan set a target of 106 runs for South Africa in response to which South Africa’s entire team was bowled out for 88 runs.

Pakistan’s Muhammad Ikhlaq displayed outstanding batting, scoring 53 runs off just 16 balls, while Hussain Talat also played an aggressive innings, scoring 27 runs off 11 balls. On the other hand, the United Arab Emirates eliminated India from the tournament by defeating them by one run. Chasing a target of 131 runs, the Indian team was restricted to 129, making the UAE’s victory thrilling one.
