How PTI Founder Imran Khan saved Nadia Jamil from police

Pakistani actress Nadia Jamil revealed that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan once saved her from the police.

During a recent TV show appearance with her husband, Ali Pervaiz, Nadia shared a humorous story from their courtship days. She explained that when they were young, they went for a drive after meeting at a friend’s house. Along the way, they were stopped by a police squad, who took them to the police station to check their marriage documents.

Instead of calling her father for help, Nadia decided to reach out to her uncle, Yousaf Salahuddin. She was unaware that her father and several others were at her uncle’s house at the time. Later, five people, including Imran Khan, arrived at the police station. Imran Khan had tea with the police officers, and Nadia was released.

Years later, Imran Khan told Nadia that she was a “good girl” for marrying Ali Pervaiz.

Besides acting, Nadia Jamil is also actively involved in philanthropic work for children’s welfare.
