ICC officials visit Gaddafi Stadium for Champions Trophy 2025 preparations

Preparations for the 2025 ICC Champions Trophy are in full swing as a delegation of ICC officials visited Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore. The visit included inspections of not only the ground but also the PCB offices and the players’ block.
Jawad Ahmed Qazi, Director of Infrastructure at the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), briefed the ICC officials on the ongoing upgrades at the stadium. He assured the delegation that the upgrading work would be completed by January 30, 2025.
The ICC delegation expressed satisfaction with the progress of the stadium’s upgrades. Among the officials present were Wasim Khan, General Manager of Cricket Affairs at the ICC, as well as Sarah Edgar and Aoun Zaidi from the ICC’s Event and Logistics team.
