ICC Unveils Champions Trophy Ambassadors for 2025

The list of event ambassadors who will contribute to the fan experience has been made public by the International Cricket Council (ICC).

In addition to Shane Watson, the two-time winner from Australia, Shikhar Dhawan, the Player of the Series from India’s 2013 trophy-winning campaign, and Tim Southee, the great fast bowler from New Zealand, Pakistan’s 2017 winning skipper Sarfaraz Ahmed is part of an all-star cast.

Sarafraz Ahmed talked about his most recent encounter and expressed his happiness. “As Pakistan captain in 2017, I will always remember how incredible it was to don the white jackets and raise the trophy in the air. I am thrilled to see the tournament return to the cricket calendar and to see my country given the chance to host such a unique event because I also love seeing the people rally behind us and celebrate our accomplishments.

The opening match between the host Pakistan and New Zealand at the storied Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore will take place on February 19, marking the start of the ICC Champions Trophy 2025.
