Illegal Gunfire at Peshawar Wedding Leads to Multiple Arrests

In Peshawar, police have arrested 12 people, including the groom, for firing guns during a wedding ceremony, a celebration that turned dangerous. The incident, widely shared on social media, is now known as the Peshawar wedding firing arrests, highlighting the legal consequences of reckless gun use at public events.

According to Peshawar police, the firing took place at a wedding in the Forest Bazaar area of Tehkal police jurisdiction. The video of the incident went viral, drawing immediate attention from authorities and the public alike.

Police officers quickly took notice of the viral video and ordered the identification and arrest of all individuals involved. Under the supervision of DSP Town Circle, Arbab Naeem Haider, the suspects, including the groom named Jabran, were located and taken into custody.

During the arrests, law enforcement recovered weapons including one LMG gun, one M4 rifle, two Kalashnikovs, and one pistol from the suspects. The police have registered a formal case at Tehkal police station and started an investigation into the incident.
