Imran Khan condemns loss of lives in Islamabad protest: PTI chairman

Islamabad: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Barrister Gohar stated that party founder Imran Khan expressed deep condolences over the martyrdom of Rangers personnel and party workers during the recent protests in Islamabad.
Speaking to the media outside Adiala Jail on Monday, Barrister Gohar revealed that Imran Khan condemned the loss of lives during the protest and offered prayers for the souls of the departed.
“Imran Khan strongly condemned the loss of lives during the protest and prayed for all the departed souls,” Barrister Gohar said. He further emphasised that Imran Khan urged all PTI leaders to remain united in these challenging times.
The PTI chairman added that the party founder had expressed full trust in the leadership of the party and would announce the next steps in the coming days.
Imran Khan’s statement comes in the wake of violent protests and clashes that took place in Islamabad, which led to the tragic loss of lives. The PTI leadership has called for unity within the party as it prepares for the next phase of its political strategy.
