India Announces 15-Member Squad for Asia Cup 2025

India has announced its 15-member squad for the upcoming Asia Cup 2025. Shubman Gill has made a strong return to the T20 squad. He has also been named vice-captain, replacing Axar Patel in the leadership role.
The team will be led by Suryakumar Yadav as captain. Notably, Yashasvi Jaiswal and Shreyas Iyer have failed to secure a spot in the squad. Their exclusion reflects tough competition and new strategies for the tournament.
The selected squad includes Shubman Gill, Abhishek Sharma, Tilak Varma, Hardik Pandya, Shivam Dube, and Axar Patel. Wicketkeeper Jitesh Sharma, pacers Jasprit Bumrah and Arshdeep Singh, and spinner Varun Chakravarthy are also part of the lineup.
Additionally, Kuldeep Yadav, Sanju Samson, Harshit Rana, and Rinku Singh complete the squad.
