India using state-sponsored terrorism as policy against Pakistan: DG ISPR

Author Avatar Web Desk | 3 weeks ago

Rawalpindi: DG ISPR Lt. Gen. Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry has stated that India is actively sponsoring terrorism in Pakistan under state patronage, using it as a deliberate policy to destabilise the country, particularly Balochistan.

In an interview with a foreign media outlet, he said India’s political leadership has openly admitted to interference in Pakistan, while countries like the US and Canada have also acknowledged Indian state terrorism. He named Ajit Doval as the mastermind behind India’s terrorist networks operating in Pakistan.

Lt. Gen. Sharif emphasised that Pakistan is a responsible and invincible nuclear power with a fully secure and defensive nuclear program. “No one can dare to target it,” he asserted.

He clarified that in Islam, only the state has the authority to declare jihad or armed struggle, not any individual or group. Terms like “Fitna-e-Khawarij” and “Fitna-e-Hind” refer to elements acting against Islam, humanity, and Pakistan — the latter specifically pointing to Indian-backed insurgents in Balochistan.

He also reaffirmed Pakistan’s strong political and diplomatic support for Iran.
