New Zealand has handed India a crushing defeat, completing a whitewash by winning the third Test match. In this game, held in Mumbai, the Kiwis left no room for the Indian team to shine. New Zealand posted 235 runs in their first inning and 174 in their second. Chasing a target of 147 runs, the Indian team was bowled out for just 121 runs.
Notably, this marks India’s first Test series loss on home soil in 12 years, and it is the first time in history that they have faced a 3-0 defeat in a Test series—a major embarrassment for the team. This loss opens a new chapter for Indian cricket.
