Influencer Sana Yousuf’s Murder — Suspect Confesses in Court

In a tragic turn of events, the suspect arrested in the murder of 17-year-old social media influencer Sana Yousuf has confessed to the crime during court proceedings. The accused, Umar Hayat, admitted that he acted out of anger and a desire for revenge after Sana repeatedly refused to meet him.

According to media sources, 22-year-old Umar Hayat was presented before Judicial Magistrate Saad Nazir, where he recorded his confession under Section 164 of the Pakistan Penal Code. In his statement, he admitted that he had wanted to meet Sana, but her continuous refusals enraged him to the point of taking her life.

The suspect said he once waited an entire day outside Sana’s house hoping to meet her, but she refused and even rejected the birthday gift he brought. Later, on June 2, she allegedly called him again, but the meeting didn’t go as he had hoped. Overwhelmed by anger, he forcefully entered her home and shot her twice in the chest.

The incident occurred in the evening of June 2, when Sana was fatally shot inside her home. She died on the spot due to the gunshot wounds. Authorities have placed the suspect in custody and launched further investigations.
