Inter-Exams Postponed in Balochistan for Three Weeks Amid Teachers’ Boycott

QUETTA – The Balochistan Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education has postponed the intermediate examinations that were scheduled to begin on April 22, 2025, due to unavoidable circumstances.
The board chairman confirmed that the exams will now be delayed by three weeks.
Sources indicate that the decision came in response to a boycott announced by teachers, making it difficult to proceed with the examination process as planned.
Students have expressed frustration over the delay, citing concerns that the rescheduling could impact their academic timeline, particularly admission processes for medical colleges in the upcoming year.
In a related development, matric exams in North Waziristan have also been postponed due to prevailing security concerns in the area.
