Islamabad Court issues arrest warrants for PTI leader Omar Ayub, others

The Islamabad District and Sessions Court has issued arrest warrants for PTI leader Omar Ayub and other party members in a case related to violations of Section 144.
Judicial Magistrate Shehzad Khan presided over the hearing involving Barrister Gohar Khan, Omar Ayub, and others. Due to their absence, the court issued arrest warrants for Omar Ayub, Amir Dogar, and Amir Mughal. However, exemption requests for Shoaib Shaheen and Barrister Gohar Khan were granted.
Barrister Gohar Khan had submitted a request seeking an exemption from appearance, which the court approved. Meanwhile, arguments regarding the acquittal petitions of the accused could not take place once again, prompting the court to adjourn the hearing until April 23.
Notably, Barrister Gohar Khan and several other PTI leaders are facing two cases registered at the I-9 Police Station.
