Khyber Pakhtunkhwa establishment department issues directives for civil servants to remain a political

The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Establishment Department has issued a new circular to all departments and subordinate institutions, instructing senior government officials and employees to remain apolitical. The directive was issued on the orders of the Chief Secretary of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

The circular emphasises that government machinery, equipment, and resources must not be used to support any political party. Furthermore, it advises government officials and employees to refrain from participating in any political gatherings, processions, or rallies.

The directive warns that any government employee found violating these instructions will face legal action by the law.
