KP Police Foil Terror Attack on Gambila Police Station in Lakki Marwat

The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) police successfully thwarted a terrorist attack on the Gambila Police Station in Lakki Marwat.
As per the police spokesperson, a group of 10 to 12 armed terrorists had taken fortified positions with the intention to assault the police station. However, alert personnel quickly noticed suspicious activity and responded decisively.
The swift and coordinated response by the police squad forced the attackers to retreat. Fortunately, no casualties were reported, and all officers at the station remained safe and unharmed.
Inspector General of Police (IGP) KP Zulfiqar Hameed praised the vigilance and bravery of the Lakki Marwat police for preventing what could have been a major tragedy.
Regional Police Officer (RPO) Bannu Sajjad Khan also acknowledged the prompt and effective action taken by the Gambila police unit, describing it as a model of readiness and professionalism.
