Lahore: In an unprecedented development in the history of Lahore police, a case has been registered against the city’s only female Station House Officer (SHO), Sub-Inspector Saniya Ashraf of the Women Police Station, for alleged possession of illegal weapons and links to a robbery incident.

According to police sources, during the investigation of a robbery in the Kahna area, arrested suspects revealed that the 9mm pistol used in the crime had been obtained from the residence of SHO Saniya Ashraf.
