Lebanese-American Influencer Walks Again After 10 Years with Robotic Technology
Lebanese-American social media influencer Jessica Tawil, who was left paralyzed after a devastating car accident a decade ago, has taken her first steps in 10 years — thanks to groundbreaking robotic technology.

Jessica, a well-known influencer from New Jersey, had been living with paralysis since a road accident in 2015 when she was only 16 years old. The crash caused severe spinal injuries, leaving her unable to stand or walk.

After years of rehabilitation and learning to live in a wheelchair, Jessica recently stood up and walked again with the help of an advanced robotic exoskeleton.

She shared emotional videos of her first steps on Instagram, where her followers celebrated her incredible milestone.

In the videos, Jessica appeared nervous and emotional at first, but soon her face lit up with joy as she walked with robotic assistance. Her story quickly went viral, inspiring millions around the world.

Jessica often shares her journey and challenges on social media — from maintaining independence to coping with physical pain. She has over 1.3 million followers on TikTok and more than 900,000 on Instagram.

Jessica holds a degree in Biology from Fairleigh Dickinson University, along with qualifications in Chemistry and Arabic. Her courage and resilience continue to serve as a source of hope for people living with disabilities across the globe.
