Major outage in Amazon cloud services affects millions worldwide

A major outage in Amazon cloud services caused hundreds of websites to go offline suddenly, affecting millions of users across the world. Amazon Web Services (AWS), the world’s largest cloud company, faced a serious technical issue in one of its internal systems.

According to international media, the issue occurred in AWS’s system that manages network load balancing. Because of this, many popular websites and apps were affected, including ChatGPT, Snapchat, Zoom, Roblox, Signal, and Duolingo.

The monitoring site DownDetector reported that over 1,000 companies experienced service disruptions. Users from the US, UK, Australia, and other countries reported problems accessing services and websites.

Tech experts have called this one of the biggest technical failures in AWS history. Many companies in the tech sector also confirmed they faced issues in their services due to the outage.
