KARACHI: The Sindh government has announced an increase in the upper age limit for recruits in specific roles within the education sector, raising the maximum age from 28 to 30 years.

The decision, confirmed by the Sindh Education Department, applies to the recruitment of monitoring officers and early childhood teachers. An official notification has been issued to formalize this change, which aligns with ongoing recruitment efforts for these positions.

Previously, the age limit for applicants was set at 28 years following a court ruling that overturned an earlier decision that allowed a maximum age of 43 years for these roles. The new adjustment provides eligible candidates until the age of 30 to apply for the advertised positions, giving more individuals the opportunity to apply for these important roles in the education sector.
