Major Reshuffle in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Cabinet After Ministers’ Resignations

Peshawar: A significant reshuffle has taken place in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa cabinet following the resignation of two provincial ministers, with several portfolios reassigned among ministers, advisers, and special assistants.
According to the official notification, Special Assistant Arbab Asim has been given the portfolio of Elementary and Secondary Education, while Special Assistant Muhammad Israr has been assigned the Irrigation Department.
Minister for Excise Khaliq ur Rehman has been transferred to the Health Department, whereas Adviser on Health, Ehtisham Ali, will now oversee the Excise Department.
Similarly, Provincial Minister Fazal Shakoor has been allocated the Tourism portfolio, and Adviser on Tourism, Zahid Chanzeb, has been assigned the Labour Department.
In further changes, Minister for Public Health, Pakhtoon Yar Khan, has been shifted to the Sports Department, while Sports Minister Fakhar Jahan Khan will now head the Public Health Engineering Department.
The notification also confirmed that Hameed ur Rehman has been appointed as Special Assistant to the Chief Minister, and Dr. Amjad has been elevated to the position of Provincial Minister.
