Marnus Labuschagne Named Captain of Hyderabad Houston Kingsmen for PSL 11

Karachi: Australian cricketer Marnus Labuschagne has been appointed captain of the new franchise Hyderabad Houston Kingsmen for the upcoming season of the Pakistan Super League.

The franchise announced the appointment through its official social media accounts, sharing a short promotional video revealing the team’s new leader.

In the 26-second clip, a private plane is seen flying over Hyderabad while dropping paper slips in the air carrying the message that Marnus Labuschagne has been named the team’s captain.

According to the franchise, Labuschagne joined the Kingsmen through a direct signing before the PSL historic players draft, though the financial details of the contract were not disclosed.

The upcoming season of the Pakistan Super League is scheduled to take place from March 26 to May 3.

Hyderabad Houston Kingsmen will begin their PSL 11 campaign against Lahore Qalandars in the tournament’s opening match.
