Rawalpindi – An anti-terrorism court in Rawalpindi has issued proclamations against 14 Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leaders in connection with the May 9 cases. Judge Amjad Ali Shah ordered the notices and directed that a report be submitted by October 18.

According to court details, the leaders named in the proclamation include Omar Ayub, Kanwal Shauzab, Sheikh Rashid Shafique, Azeem Ullah, Zartaj Gul, Rai Muhammad Murtaza, Rai Hassan Nawaz, Muhammad Ahmed Chattha, and Muhammad Javed.

In addition, the list also carries the names of Shibli Faraz, Chaudhry Asif Ali, Chaudhry Bilal Ejaz, Shakeel Ahmed Khan, and Ashraf Khan.

The proclamations were issued in cases registered at multiple police stations, including New Town, Sadiqabad, City, Waris Khan, Civil Lines, Morgah, Taxila, Wah Cantt, RA Bazaar, and Saddar Wah.

Earlier, non-bailable arrest warrants had been issued against the suspects, but after repeated non-compliance and their failure to appear in court, proclamations were published.
