Mild Earthquake Tremors Felt in Peshawar, Panic Among Citizens

Mild earthquake tremors were felt in Peshawar this morning, causing panic among residents. According to the seismological centre, the earthquake was recorded with a magnitude of 4.7 on the Richter scale, with its epicentre located in the Hindu Kush mountain range in Afghanistan.

The seismological centre further reported that the earthquake had a depth of 211 kilometres beneath the Earth’s surface, which is why the tremors were felt across Peshawar and surrounding areas.

Immediately following the tremors, citizens in Peshawar rushed out of their homes and offices, and chaos ensued on the streets. Many people evacuated their buildings to ensure the safety of their families.

As of now, no reports of casualties or property damage have been received, but the tremors highlighted the need for precautionary measures and awareness regarding natural disasters.
