Mosques across Pakistan prepare for Aitkaf in the last 10 days of Ramazan

Mosques across the country have completed arrangements for Aitkaf as the last ten days of Ramazan approach. Worshippers will begin the spiritual retreat, dedicating themselves to prayer and reflection in mosques.

In Lahore, the Punjab Auqaf Department has finalised the list of participants for Aitkaf at Data Darbar mosque. According to shrine administrator Sheikh Jameel, a total of 1,600 people have been cleared for participation after security verification by the Special Branch. To accommodate them, four sectors with 102 cabins each have been set up.

Other mosques in Lahore have also made arrangements for special prayers and Aitkaf observance.

In Islamabad, Faisal Mosque is prepared to host over 600 worshippers for Aitkaf. The administration has confirmed that no charges will be collected from participants this year as well.

Mosques in other cities have also made necessary preparations, ensuring a peaceful and organised environment for those engaging in this sacred practice.
