Nation Celebrates Quaid-e-Azam’s 148th Birth Anniversary with Patriotic Fervor

Islamabad: The 148th birth anniversary of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, the founder of Pakistan, is being celebrated across the country today with enthusiasm and patriotism.
A formal changing of the guard ceremony was held at Quaid-e-Azam’s mausoleum in Karachi, where officials and citizens gathered to pay homage. Special prayers for national progress, unity, and prosperity marked the beginning of the day in mosques nationwide.
The occasion was honoured with 21-gun salutes in provincial capitals, and the national flag was hoisted on key public and private buildings to reflect the spirit of the day.

President Dr. Arif Alvi and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif paid glowing tributes to Quaid-e-Azam, emphasizing the importance of adhering to his vision for a strong and united Pakistan.
President Alvi, in his message, said, “Jinnah’s dream of a harmonious and progressive Pakistan compels us to promote unity and justice in our society. His legacy reminds us of our responsibilities towards social equality, education, and economic uplift.”
The president called upon the nation to uphold the principles of democracy, law, and justice, which Quaid-e-Azam so strongly advocated.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif also highlighted the significance of Quaid-e-Azam’s leadership, saying, “Jinnah’s life is an inspiration for all of us. His extraordinary vision and courage turned the dream of Pakistan into reality.”
The prime minister urged citizens to follow Jinnah’s ideals of unity, equality, and inclusivity. He reiterated the need for collective efforts to achieve the Quaid’s vision of a prosperous and progressive Pakistan.
