National Assembly Speaker Ayaz Sadiq calls a meeting for the government and PTI negotiation committees

National Assembly Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq has called for a meeting with members of the government and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) negotiation committees on Monday, as part of ongoing efforts to resolve the political deadlock in the country.
Reacting positively to the formation of the government’s negotiation committee, Ayaz Sadiq commended Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s initiative to address political issues through dialogue. He described the move as a positive step towards resolving differences and fostering a constructive conversation.
“The speaker’s office is always open for members, and progress can only be achieved through dialogue,” Sadiq stated, emphasising the importance of communication in overcoming the current political impasse.
The meeting will take place at 11:30 AM in the Speaker’s chamber at the Parliament House, where both the government and PTI committees are expected to gather to move forward with the negotiation process. This marks a significant development in efforts to bridge the gap between the government and opposition, with hopes for a peaceful resolution to the ongoing political challenges in the country.
