Netherlands Fast Bowler Vivian Kingma Handed Three-Month Ban

The International Cricket Council (ICC) has imposed a three-month ban on Netherlands pacer Vivian Kingma for violating its anti-doping code.
According to the ICC, a sample was collected from Kingma on May 12 during the Cricket World Cup League Two. The test later returned positive for a prohibited substance. The fast bowler admitted to the violation but stated that he had not used the substance during competition.
The ICC confirmed that the suspension has been in effect since August 15. As a result, Kingma’s records from the May 12 ODI against the UAE and subsequent matches have been annulled.
Kingma has represented the Netherlands in 30 One-Day Internationals and 26 T20 Internationals so far.
