Now person sitting behind bike will have to wear helmet


In a bid to ensure the safety of citizens, the Traffic Police have made helmets mandatory for both motorcyclists and riders.
According to details, the decision was made to enhance safety for those riding motorcycles and sitting on the back seat.
Dr. Azhar Waheed, the CTO of Lahore, emphasized that this rule must be strictly followed. He stated that parking enforcement officers have been instructed to take action against those who fail to comply with the new regulation. Furthermore, he mentioned that both the driver and the front seat passenger will also be required to wear seat belts.
The CTO clarified that this initiative is aimed at reducing the rising number of head injuries and accidents. The primary goal is to ensure the safety of the public.
