Lahore: Pakistan Women’s Cricket Team defeated Bangladesh by 7 wickets in their final match of the ICC Women’s World Cup Qualifier, securing a flawless campaign.
Batting first, Bangladesh Women posted 178 runs for 9 wickets in 50 overs. Ritu Moni scored 48, while Fahima Khatun added 44 runs. For Pakistan, Sadia Iqbal claimed three wickets, while Fatima Sana and Diana Baig took 2 wickets each.
Chasing the target, Pakistan reached the total in the 40th over, with Muneeba Ali top-scoring with 69 and Aliya Riaz remaining unbeaten on 52.
With this win, Pakistan completed the qualifiers undefeated, winning all five matches, and have officially qualified for the ICC Women’s World Cup 2025, scheduled to be held in India later this year.
