Pakistan announces public holidays for 2025

ISLAMABAD: The federal government has announced a list of 16 public holidays for the year 2025, providing citizens with several days off to observe key national and religious events, ARY News reported.
According to a notification issued by the Cabinet Division, the holidays include significant days such as Kashmir Day on February 5 and Pakistan Day on March 23. In addition, Eid ul-Fitr and Eid ul-Adha will each be observed with three consecutive holidays.
Other important holidays include Labour Day on May 1, Yom-e-Takbeer on May 28, and Independence Day on August 14. The government has also declared public holidays for Ashura, Eid Milad-un-Nabi, and Iqbal Day on November 9.
Additionally, December 25 will be observed as Quaid-e-Azam Day, marking the birth of Pakistan’s founder, Muhammad Ali Jinnah.
