Pakistan Cricket Team Faces Major Changes for New Zealand Tour

Lahore: Due to the national cricket team’s poor performance in the ICC Champions Trophy, Mohammad Rizwan is likely to be removed from T20 captaincy.
Sources indicate that Mohammad Haris and Salman Ali Agha are being considered for the captaincy role. Several changes are expected in the Pakistan squad for the New Zealand tour. Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan will not be part of the team, while Shaheen Shah Afridi and Haris Rauf will be excluded from the ODI squad. Akif Javed, Mohammad Haris, and Wasim Junior are likely to be included.
Khushdil Shah and Faheem Ashraf will be part of the squad, as the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) is focusing on introducing new talent for the New Zealand tour. Shadab Khan and Haider Ali are also expected to make a comeback. Additionally, Sufiyan Muqeem and Mohammad Ali are under consideration.
